Upstash Redis Free includes 256 MB, 500K commands and 10 GB bandwidth monthly

Upstash currently lists a $0 Redis Free tier for prototypes and hobby projects. The official pricing page shows one free database with up to 256 MB of data, 500,000 commands per month and 10 GB of monthly bandwidth. The free tier also has published request, record and throughput limits, so it is best treated as an entry plan rather than an unlimited production service. Upstash says that entering a credit card upgrades the database to pay-as-you-go; a separate instant-start option can even create a temporary free Redis database without signup, card or API key, but that unclaimed database is deleted after three days. For a normal persistent account, use the standard Free plan and stay within its current quotas. No coupon code is required.
