Supabase Free Plan: 500 MB Postgres, 50K MAU and 1 GB Storage

Supabase currently provides a $0 Free plan aimed at passion projects, experiments and simple websites. Its official pricing page lists a dedicated Postgres database, unlimited API requests, up to 50,000 monthly active users, a 500 MB database size, 5 GB egress, 5 GB cached egress and 1 GB file storage on the free tier.

The Free plan uses shared compute and has important operational limits. Supabase states that free projects are paused after one week of inactivity and that an account is limited to two active free projects. The billing documentation also notes that free projects can enter read-only behavior when database limits are exceeded, so the plan is best suited to development, demos and smaller workloads.

To use it, create a Supabase account, start a Free project and monitor database, storage and egress usage in the dashboard. Check the live pricing page before production use because quotas and plan rules can change.
