Microsoft’s current Fabric documentation states that a standard Fabric trial capacity lasts 60 days unless it is cancelled earlier. A trial is configured as either F4 or F64 capacity and can be used with Fabric workloads including Data Factory, Data Science, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics and Power BI. Microsoft currently permits up to 1 TB of storage in OneLake during the trial, while some capabilities such as Copilot, Trusted Workspace Access and certain AI experiences are not supported. Trial availability can be disabled by an organization administrator or constrained by tenant capacity limits.

Sign in to Microsoft Fabric, open Account manager or trigger an eligible Fabric feature, choose Start trial when available, select an available trial region, accept the terms and activate the trial capacity.
