Microsoft Copilot Studio — Free Trial for Building and Testing Agents

Microsoft’s current Copilot Studio licensing documentation lets eligible individuals sign up for a free trial using a work or school account. The trial can be used to create agents and test them through the test chat panel, but Microsoft explicitly states that the trial license cannot publish the agent. When the trial expires, Microsoft says it can be extended by 30 days, and an agent can continue to work for up to 90 days after trial expiry. The checked documentation does not state the initial trial duration, so DealVorio does not invent one. Organization administrators can also disable self-service sign-up.
