Microsoft Azure for Students: $100 Cloud Credit With No Credit Card Required

Eligible full-time university students age 18+ can get Azure for Students with US$100 in cloud credit, selected free service allowances and no credit card required at signup.

Payment cardNot required
Microsoft’s current Azure for Students offer gives eligible full-time university students US$100 in Azure credit with no credit card required. Microsoft says the credit can be used for up to 12 months, alongside free monthly amounts for selected Azure services; current Azure pages list 20+ popular services with 12-month free amounts for new Azure customers and 65+ services with ongoing free monthly allowances. Eligibility is narrower than a generic student email: Microsoft Learn says applicants must be age 18 or older, attend an accredited degree-granting two-year or four-year higher-education institution as a full-time student, and verify academic status through the institution email. The subscription can be renewed annually while student eligibility continues. If the available credit is exhausted and the user does not choose to move to pay-as-you-go, Microsoft says the subscription and deployed products are disabled rather than automatically creating ordinary usage charges.
