JetBrains IDEs Free for Non-Commercial Use: Rider, WebStorm, CLion and More

JetBrains has an official non-commercial subscription that makes several professional IDEs available at no charge when the work is genuinely non-commercial. Eligible examples listed by JetBrains include hobby development, learning and self-education, open-source contributions, and creating technical content such as tutorials or courses. The program covers tools including Rider, WebStorm, CLion, RustRover, RubyMine and DataGrip. Commercial work is not eligible, so users who plan to earn commercial benefits from a project should use an appropriate paid license. To redeem the offer, open JetBrains’ non-commercial page, choose an eligible IDE, sign in with a JetBrains Account, accept the non-commercial terms and activate the license. JetBrains’ Rider documentation says these non-commercial subscriptions are issued for one year and can renew automatically when the assigned license has been used during the required recent-use period.
