Cloudflare R2 Object Storage Free Tier

Cloudflare R2 currently includes a free monthly allowance for its Standard object-storage class. Cloudflare’s official R2 pricing page, last updated August 7, 2026, lists 10 GB-month of storage, 1 million Class A operations and 10 million Class B operations per month at no charge, with egress to the Internet listed as free. The free tier applies only to Standard storage and does not apply to the Infrequent Access storage class. Usage above the included storage or operation allowances is billed at Cloudflare’s published R2 rates, so this should be treated as a usage-based free tier rather than unlimited free storage. R2 supports S3-compatible access patterns and can be used for assets, backups and application object storage. Check the current pricing page and account billing configuration before moving a production workload or a large dataset into R2.
