Clerk Hobby is free with 50,000 monthly retained users per app and no card required

Clerk currently lists its Hobby plan as Free and explicitly says no credit card is required. The official pricing page includes unlimited applications, up to three dashboard seats and a 50,000 monthly retained user limit per application, plus APIs and prebuilt sign-up, sign-in and user-profile interfaces. It also includes a custom domain, a fixed seven-day session lifetime and one-day application-log retention, while some advanced features such as production MFA, passkeys, longer custom sessions and enterprise connections require paid tiers or add-ons. Clerk measures retained users rather than raw signups, and its pricing page explains that an application exceeding the free retained-user allowance must move to Pro after a grace period.
