Azure DevOps Free Tier: 5 Users, CI/CD Minutes and Private Repos

Microsoft currently provides a meaningful free allowance inside Azure DevOps Services for small development teams. The Basic plan lists the first five users as free and includes Azure Boards, unlimited private Git repositories through Azure Repos, and Azure Pipelines access. The current pricing page also lists one Microsoft-hosted parallel CI/CD job with 1,800 build minutes per month, one self-hosted parallel job with unlimited minutes, and the first 2 GiB of Azure Artifacts storage free per organization. Additional users, hosted parallel capacity, storage, advanced security, and Test Plans can incur charges, so teams should review the live pricing page before expanding beyond the included limits. To use the free allowance, create or sign in to an Azure DevOps organization, add up to five Basic users, create repositories and boards, then configure Pipelines or Artifacts within the published free-service limits.
