Walmart’s current official Student help page says qualifying college and university students receive 50% off Walmart+ monthly or annual membership. Walmart currently advertises the discounted student rates as $49 per year or $6.47 per month. Eligibility requires the member to be at least 18, reside in the United States including its territories, commonwealths and possessions, and be a current or incoming undergraduate or advanced-degree student at a Title IV-accredited US college or university who passes enrollment verification. Walmart says the Student membership starts with a 30-day trial; after that trial, the member is automatically enrolled in the monthly or annual plan selected during signup.
