Free Russian Language Course for First-Grade Students in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan’s official state news portal reports that a free introductory online Russian-language course has been launched for first-grade students in secondary schools where Turkmen is the language of instruction. The course contains 70 short video lessons, each no longer than roughly 10–15 minutes, using a playful format to build vocabulary, speech and communication skills. The project is implemented jointly by the education ministries of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, with course materials prepared by pedagogical-university specialists.
