Tims Rewards Canada: Free Membership and 10 Points per Dollar

Tims Rewards is free to join in Canada. Tim Hortons’ current help documentation says members earn 10 points for every eligible Canadian dollar spent on menu items. Points can be collected by scanning the QR code in the Tims app or a physical rewards card, and eligible app orders can add points automatically. Members choose an available reward level in the app and redeem points toward qualifying menu items once they have enough.

The earn rate does not mean every transaction component qualifies. Gift-card loads, certain third-party delivery transactions, tips, taxes, donations, selected retail products and other excluded items do not earn points. Tim Hortons also publishes a points-expiry policy: points expire 12 months after the end of the calendar month in which they were earned. Bonus-point offers may appear in the app and can have their own terms. Join only through Tim Hortons’ official app or website, review the selected reward level before ordering and scan before payment where required.
