Tableau Desktop Public Edition Free for Learning and Data Visualization

Tableau currently provides Tableau Desktop Public Edition as a free option for learning data visualization. Tableau’s official student page says users can sign up through Tableau Public, download the Public Edition and keep using it for learning without renewing a license. The software offers core visualization capabilities, but it is intended for public, non-commercial work and publishes to Tableau Public rather than Tableau Cloud. Tableau also notes that qualified academic users may have additional course-software options through their institutions. To redeem the free offer, open the official Tableau for Students page, choose Get Tableau for Free, create or sign in to a Tableau Public profile and download Tableau Desktop Public Edition.
