Supabase Free Plan for Serverless Postgres Projects

Supabase’s Free plan is a $0 starting tier for hobby projects and experiments that need a hosted Postgres database and Supabase’s core platform APIs. Current Supabase billing documentation grants up to two active free projects across organizations where you are an owner or administrator. Each free project includes a dedicated Postgres database, unlimited API requests, and 500 MB of database size. Free projects can pause after one week of inactivity, so the tier is better suited to prototypes, learning, and smaller workloads than production systems that must remain continuously available. Automatic backups, point-in-time recovery, and advanced disk configuration are not included on the Free plan. Supabase’s paid plans provide larger quotas and remove some free-tier restrictions. Check the live usage table before launching a workload because limits outside the database allowance can change independently, and usage requirements may differ by product feature.
