Sketch Education: Free Workspace for Eligible Students and Educators

Sketch offers its Education Workspace free to approved students, teachers and academic institutions. Individual students must be at least 16 and currently enrolled at a college, university, high school or qualifying paid online course lasting at least two months; teachers must provide proof of current employment. Institutions must show that Sketch is part of the relevant course syllabus. Approved individual accounts receive one Editor seat, 50 GB of storage and access to the Mac app for one year, with renewal requests reviewed by Sketch. Applicants first create a Workspace and submit documents such as a current school ID, enrollment confirmation, tuition receipt or staff ID. Sketch says the initial 30-day Workspace trial requires no card or payment details while an application is reviewed, normally within two to three business days. The Mac editor requires a macOS-compatible device running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer. Home learning, self-education, nonprofits, startups and academic marketing departments are not eligible.
