Singapore Free Basic Bus and Train Travel for Children Under 7

Singapore's SimplyGo system currently allows children under seven to travel free on basic bus and train services. Children under seven who are up to 0.9m tall can travel free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult without needing a Child Concession Card. Children under seven who are 0.9m or taller can also travel free but must use a valid Child Concession Card, which is issued without an application fee at SimplyGo Ticket Offices after the required identity documents are presented. The free child concession does not apply to Express, Premium Bus Services or City Direct Services; those services can require adult cash fare. The Child Concession Card generally remains valid until April 30 of the year the child turns seven.
