Saylor University Free Self-Paced Courses and Certificates

Saylor University currently offers a large catalog of self-paced online courses that are free to learn. Its official Programs page lists more than 160 skill-development courses across business, computer science, mathematics, English, history, professional development, and other subjects, and states that the courses are completely free. Saylor also says learners can earn a free certificate of completion by passing the final exam for a course. The current Tuition & Fees page clarifies that course access, course materials, platform access, and certificates of completion have no charge. A separate optional path exists for learners who want ACE-recommended college credit: those proctored credit exams currently cost $5 per exam session. That optional proctoring fee is not required for ordinary free learning or the standard course-completion certificate. Users can browse the current course catalog and create a free account to track progress and take assessments.
