Samoa School Fee Grant Scheme Covers Tuition for Primary and Years 9–11

Samoa’s Ministry of Education and Culture states that the Government provides funding through the School Fee Grant Scheme (SSFGS) to government and mission schools. The scheme covers tuition fees for all students enrolled at primary level and for students in Years 9 to 11 at secondary level. The Ministry also says the grant gives schools opportunities to purchase materials and equipment that improve student learning, while separate government funding supports consumables for TVET in secondary schools.
