SAA Voyager: Free Loyalty Registration and Immediate Account Activation

South African Airways states that Voyager registration is free and that accounts are activated immediately. The programme is for individuals in their personal capacity, with one account per person. Children age two and above may join when the application and later transactions are handled by a legal guardian. Members can earn miles on eligible SAA and participating partner activity and may redeem available miles for published SAA, Star Alliance, airline-partner or non-air awards.

The current terms allow eligible sectors flown during the 90 days immediately before enrollment to be credited, subject to the evidence and missing-mile rules. Voyager miles and award tickets can have expiry, taxes, fees, service charges and availability restrictions. The official free-registration wording appears on SAA's Voyager Credit Wallet page, but joining Voyager does not require using that wallet or converting an unused ticket. DealVorio therefore separates the free standard membership from the optional wallet conversion and any paid mileage purchase, transfer or extension service.
