Queensland's Translink network has permanent 50 cent fares for public transport journeys. The official Translink fare page says the AUD 0.50 flat fare applies across all zones and modes on the Translink network, including South East Queensland buses, Queensland Rail City Train services except Airtrain, ferries, trams and on-demand services, plus participating regional urban bus networks. The same fare applies whether an eligible passenger pays with a go card, contactless debit or credit card, or a paper ticket; regional urban buses can also retain existing ticketing options.
