Proton VPN Free: Unlimited Data, No Ads and No Speed Limits

Proton currently offers a free VPN plan that it describes as unlimited and free forever. The official Free VPN page lists support for one device and says the free tier has no advertisements, keeps no activity logs and imposes no data or time limits. Proton’s current download guidance also says it does not impose artificial speed limits on Free users, although real-world speed can vary because free servers may have more users and every VPN adds some connection overhead. The free tier includes core privacy and anti-censorship features, while advanced server selection, streaming guarantees, Secure Core and other premium functionality require a paid plan. DealVorio records only the features Proton explicitly assigns to the Free plan and does not treat paid-plan features as included.
