Proton VPN Free: Unlimited Data, No Ads and One Device

Proton VPN’s official free-plan page states that its Free tier is unlimited and free forever. The plan supports one device and is advertised with no ads, no activity logs and no data or speed limits. Proton also publishes free apps for major desktop and mobile platforms and says free users are automatically connected to available free servers rather than receiving the full paid server-selection feature set. To use the offer, create a Proton account, choose Proton VPN Free, download the official app for a supported device and connect. Paid Proton VPN plans add features such as more simultaneous devices and a much larger server network, so users should compare the free-plan feature list before deciding whether an upgrade is necessary.
