Ontario One Fare: Free Transfers Between TTC and Participating GTA Transit

Ontario’s One Fare program currently removes the second local-transit fare on qualifying transfers between the TTC and participating GTA agencies when riders use PRESTO, debit or credit.

The TTC’s current One Fare page says riders can transfer free between the TTC and Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay and York Region Transit when they use an eligible PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, debit card or credit card. Riders connecting between TTC and GO Transit also receive a fare benefit: the TTC portion of the qualifying single-fare trip is discounted from the overall trip cost. The program applies to adults, youth, post-secondary students, seniors and Fair Pass customers. Transfer windows and fare rules still apply, and monthly-pass users can have different treatment, so DealVorio does not describe every inter-agency trip as automatically free.

Use the same eligible PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, debit card or credit card when tapping across participating agencies within the applicable transfer window. PRESTO automatically calculates the qualifying discount.
