Office 365 Education A1 Free for Eligible Students and Educators

Microsoft donates Office 365 Education A1 at no cost to eligible educational institutions, allowing qualifying students and educators to use core Microsoft productivity tools online. The free A1 plan includes web-based versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, and Microsoft’s education pages also describe access to Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat within the education experience. To get started, visit Microsoft’s official Office 365 Education page and enter your school email address. Eligibility depends on the institution being qualified by Microsoft, and Microsoft may re-verify status. The free education access can continue while the user remains enrolled at or employed by a qualified educational organization; if eligibility ends, online services tied to that education entitlement may stop.
