Notion Education Plan: Free Upgraded Workspace for Eligible College Students and Teachers

Notion currently offers a free Education Plan for individual students and teachers at accredited colleges and universities recognized through its education eligibility system. The plan is for a one-member workspace and currently includes up to 100 guests, unlimited uploads and 30-day page edit history. A valid education-institution email must be the main email on the Notion account; Notion says student IDs or other documentation are not accepted as a substitute for that email route. K-12 students and educators are not eligible for this particular higher-education plan, although they can still use Notion’s ordinary Free Plan. There is no fixed end date for qualified users, but Notion now requires student status to be re-verified once each year with the school email. If eligibility can no longer be confirmed, the workspace moves to the regular Free Plan rather than being described as an indefinitely guaranteed paid-tier upgrade.
