Nintendo Switch Online: 7-Day Free Trial in the US

Nintendo's US site currently offers a seven-day free trial of the standard Nintendo Switch Online membership. During the trial, users can test supported online multiplayer and standard membership benefits such as eligible Nintendo Classics libraries, Save Data Cloud features and member offers. The free trial does not apply to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack and cannot be redeemed by a Nintendo Account that already has an active Individual or Family membership. Nintendo Support states that a payment method for automatic renewal must be entered before starting the trial. Unless automatic renewal is turned off, the trial converts to a one-month auto-renewing membership at the then-current price. Nintendo recommends turning off renewal before the end of the trial; its main membership page says cancellation of auto-renewal should be completed at least 48 hours before the membership expires.
