museumPASS gives €5 off the first automatic renewal

museumPASS currently gives a one-time €5 discount when a pass holder uses automatic renewal for the first time. The official support guidance states that the first automatic renewal costs €59.95 instead of the standard €64.95 annual price; later automatic renewals return to the standard €64.95 price. The discounted automatic-renewal option is not available for the €12.95 social-rate museum pass, which must use the applicable manual renewal route. Payment-method availability is governed by museumPASS.
