Lucerne Visitor Card: Free Zone 10 Public Transport for Overnight Guests

Lucerne Tourism currently says guests staying overnight in the city of Lucerne receive a Visitor Card that includes free public transport within Zone 10. The transport benefit covers buses and second-class train travel in the city zone but excludes boat trips. The Visitor Card can be valid for up to 14 days per stay starting on the day of arrival, and the accommodation reservation confirmation is accepted as a valid ticket for the first journey to the accommodation. The card cannot be purchased independently and is only available to overnight guests who pay the visitor tax.
