Kobo Plus US: 14-Day Free Trial for New eBook and Audiobook Subscribers

Rakuten Kobo currently offers eligible new U.S. customers a 14-day free trial of Kobo Plus. The official U.S. Kobo Plus page lists Read & Listen at $9.99 per month after the trial, while the Read-only and Listen-only plans are listed at $7.99 per month. The catalog includes a large selection of eligible eBooks and audiobooks rather than every title sold by Kobo.

A valid payment method is required to activate the free trial. Kobo states that the subscription automatically renews monthly after the trial unless the user cancels before the trial period ends. Free-trial eligibility is limited to new subscribers, and Kobo’s help documentation says trial availability and duration can vary by region.

To claim the U.S. offer, sign in or create a Kobo account, choose an eligible Kobo Plus plan, select Start Free Trial and complete checkout with a valid payment method. Cancel from the subscriptions area before the 14-day trial ends if you do not want the monthly paid subscription.
