IONOS’ official domain-transfer page currently states that customers can transfer an eligible domain without a separate transfer fee. The service also advertises zero-downtime transfer support and free SSL. This does not mean the domain remains free indefinitely: IONOS explains that the customer pays for the first renewal term when transferring, so DealVorio does not label the entire transfer as a zero-cost domain service. Domain eligibility, registry rules and transfer authorization requirements still apply, and some extensions can have different transfer or renewal conditions. No fixed public campaign end date is displayed on the official page, so no expiry is guessed. To use the offer, check that the domain is eligible for transfer, obtain any required authorization code from the current registrar, start the transfer through IONOS and review the first-renewal charge before confirming the order.
