Flying Blue: Free Membership, Miles and Eligible KLM Wi-Fi Benefits

Flying Blue is free to join and is the loyalty program used by Air France, KLM and Transavia. New members begin at Explorer status and currently earn four Miles per eligible euro spent on qualifying Air France or KLM flight charges, excluding taxes and fees under the program rules. Miles can also be earned through participating airline, hotel, rental-car, shopping and other partners, then used for available flight rewards, upgrades and partner options.

Membership can add a connectivity benefit on supported KLM flights. Flying Blue members can use the free Message Pass on connected intercontinental flights, while connected European KLM flights currently offer a broader Wi-Fi Pass free to members. Not every aircraft has Wi-Fi, and messaging-only service does not support photos, video or audio. Higher status requires Experience Points and introduces additional benefits, so DealVorio does not present lounge access, extra baggage or premium seating as automatic benefits of the free Explorer level. Check the flight and account before relying on any perk.
