Descript Free plan includes 1 media hour monthly and 720p export

Descript currently lists a Free plan at $0 for creators who want to try its text-based audio and video editing workflow. The current comparison table gives the free tier 60 media minutes, or one media hour, per month and local video export up to 720p. It also includes 100 AI credits as a one-time allowance rather than a monthly recurring grant, so this record intentionally avoids the older “100 credits per month” wording that appears on some Descript pages. AI credits are consumed by features such as Underlord and other AI-assisted tools, while paid plans provide larger recurring allocations and higher export limits. No coupon code is required for the Free plan. Availability and individual feature limits can change, so verify the latest plan table before depending on a specific AI feature or export capability.
