Cathay Green: Free Lifelong Membership with Asia Miles Benefits

Cathay membership is completely free to join and starts at Green status. Cathay describes Green as a lifelong membership level with no joining fee. Members can earn Asia Miles and Status Points on eligible Cathay Pacific and oneworld flights, and can also earn through participating shopping, dining, hotel and lifestyle partners. Available miles may be used for published rewards including flights, extra-legroom seats or extra baggage.

Current Green travel benefits include priority online check-in up to 48 hours before departure and a conditional 24-hour free-cancellation option for qualifying direct bookings. The cancellation benefit does not apply when the first flight departs within eight days, when the membership number was not attached as required, or when the booking was made through an ineligible channel. Partner earning rates, status thresholds, reward availability, taxes and programme transition rules remain separate. DealVorio records the free Green account without implying that premium lounges or higher-tier benefits are automatic.
