Each channel can hold up to 10 scheduled posts at a time; after a post publishes, that scheduling slot becomes available again. The plan also includes up to 100 saved ideas, Buffer’s AI Assistant, basic Insights, a community inbox and API access with one API key and 3,000 requests per month. Buffer’s July 2026 plan documentation also notes a lifetime limit on unique channel connections for Free accounts, so users who frequently rotate many social profiles should review that restriction before relying on the tier long term.
