Avis Preferred: Free Membership with Faster Pickup and Eligible Rental Rewards

Avis Preferred is a complimentary loyalty membership designed to reduce time at the rental counter and add rewards to qualifying Avis rentals. Avis’s current QuickPass page explicitly says travelers can become Avis Preferred members for free and describes benefits such as skipping the counter at most airport locations, choosing or changing a car in the Avis app at supported locations, and using Express Exit. Avis also operates a points program for eligible members who opt in, with rewards subject to regional and rental rules. These conveniences do not remove the cost of the vehicle rental, taxes, fees, optional products or normal renter requirements. Availability also varies by airport and market, so DealVorio treats the membership itself as the free benefit rather than promising a universal upgrade, points value or discounted rental rate.
