1Password: 1 Year Free for GitHub-Verified Students

1Password currently offers a free year of its Individual subscription to verified post-secondary students through the GitHub Student Developer Pack. The promotion is available worldwide, but students must first qualify for GitHub Global Campus and have an active Student Developer Pack before redeeming it through 1Password. The benefit applies to an Individual account, not a Family account, and 1Password says the promotion can be redeemed only once. During redemption, users choose the United States, Canada or European Union as the data region; the promotion cannot later be transferred between those regions. Existing paid subscribers can also redeem the student offer and receive prorated credit for remaining paid time. After the free year, 1Password offers the option to buy a subscription, while active students may be eligible for a separate 50% student discount. The official page does not publish a fixed end date for the promotion.
